The Chipman Inn - Ripton

Great way to end our trip. Remote location in the State Park. Our hotel rooms were good-sized and splendid, with other travelers having drinks😀👍

Truly enjoyed Ripton, the hotel was quirky and stunningly beautiful in the State Park. The location was remote, next to the most scenic areas of Vermont, a hike for the next day and Ripton, one of the most authentic traditional and beautiful Vermont communities remaining in the state.

Really enjoyed our reasonably large and splendid rooms.

The breakfast was tasty and had variety of food. Our room had an exceptionally comfortable bed and a great view. The staff was supper friendly and affable all the time. We walked everywhere, the location was great and perfect, near children's camp.

This hotel pleasantly surprised us in many ways. The welcoming innkeepers made sure we were always taken care of, giving us a genuine taste of Vermont hospitality. The rooms were clean, spacious, and cozy, providing a comfortable retreat during our stay. Additionally, the location was convenient for exploring the nearby college campus and children's camp, making it a great choice for families.

No major issues; everything was just fine.

My stay at the hotel was good. The rooms were impeccably clean, and the beds were comfy, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's location was perfect, as it was conveniently close to the college campus we were visiting with our daughter. the hotel offered ample parking, making it easy for us to come and go as we pleased. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, always ready to assist with our needs. The breakfast provided was delicious, with a variety of options to choose from.

There was nothing I didn't like.

I recently had a wonderful stay at this hotel, and I couldn't have been happier with my experience. the staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. They were attentive to my needs and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. Secondly, the location of the hotel was perfect for me as it was conveniently close to the college campus that I was visiting. It made getting around a breeze! Lastly, the breakfast provided each morning was absolutely delicious. I couldn't resist going back for seconds. The hotel truly exceeded my expectations in terms of value for money, attention to detail, and the overall level of service provided.

Nothing to complain about.

During our recent trip to a college campus, we had a chance to stay at an inn that was in close proximity to the campus, which was super convenient for us. the inn was near a children's camp, which our little ones enjoyed visiting. the staff and service at the inn were top-notch, and we appreciated the homemade breakfast that was provided every morning. the room itself was cozy and clean, with comfortable beds.

The price of the room was slightly higher than what we had expected.

Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, fantastic breakfast and coffee, little bar in common area, great conversations.

The owner, Chris, were really good too make us feel welcome and comfortable. We were delighted to learn about the history of the inn and its connection to Robert Frost, which added a unique charm to our experience.

The hosts at The Chipman Inn were accommodating and were really good too meet our changing reservation needs. The breakfasts were delicious and the rooms were comfortable. I would highly recommend this inn for a great stay.
